Please see below for some FAQs.

Q: Do I have to be a professional dancer to attend the workshops and, if not, what skill level is required?
A: You do not have to be a professional dancer to attend. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome.

Q: What happens if I can’t attend all the necessary workshops? What happens if I have to leave earlier during the workshop period?
A: Please reach out to [email protected] if you can not attend all the workshops or need to leave early. We’re happy to answer specific questions.

Q: What will the workshops consist of?
A: The workshops will consist of round table discussions, collective writing exercises and group physical improvisations in movement and voice.

Q: How can I be part of the final show?
A: If you’re interested in performing in the show, there will be an opportunity to do so and more information will be provided at the Creative Process Workshops.

Q: What if I would like to be part of the performance but can’t attend the workshops?
A: There will be an open audition for the performance, so if you can’t attend the workshops you are more than welcome to attend the audition. The audition will happen on April 5, after work hours (exact time TBD).

Q: What if I can’t make the performance but still want to attend the workshops?
A: You are more than welcome to attend the workshops on their own without committing to the performance.

Q: What should I wear to the workshops?
A: Comfortable clothing and shoes.

Q: Should I bring food or water to the workshops?
A: You should be prepared to bring your own food and drink. No lunch or refreshments are provided and restaurants/stores are not in close proximity to the site.

Q: I have a child who is interested in participating? Should I plan to stay for the workshop?
A: Adults accompanying children have the option to stay and participate in the youth workshops or they may choose to wait until they are finished.

Q: What are the age groups?
Youth 8-15; Elders 60+; Adults 16-59

Q: Are the workshops accessible?
A: Yes, the workshops are accessible. Please let us know if you need special attention or support before you attend and we will make sure your experience is safe and comfortable.

Q: Can I attend 2 days on the same weekend?
A: Yes, you can, but the Saturday and Sunday workshops on the same weekend are the same workshop, so the material is repeated. However, new people will be present and therefore the experience will be different.

Q: What else should I bring?
A: Please bring a pen and paper or a notebook to take notes.

Q: Can I register to more than 4 workshops?
A: Yes, you can attend as many workshops as you wish, but please make sure that you can actually attend so that you don’t take the place of someone else who could have participated instead.

Q; What happens on the May 14th workshop?
A: We encourage everyone to attend the May 14, 5pm-8pm workshop. There is no maximum capacity and all previous workshop participants are welcome.

Q: What if I have more questions?
A: You can direct any additional questions to [email protected].
