Rent skates and helmets for free every Friday from 5:00-8:00pm at The Bentway Skate Trail courtesy of Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.

• Last call for rentals is 8:00pm; due back at 8:50pm
• Sizes range from Youth 6 to Adult 12.
• Sizes are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• All skates are hockey skates (figure skates not available).
• A government-issued ID is required to borrow skates and helmets.
• All equipment will be sanitized between uses.
• A thin toque is recommended for those borrowing helmets.
• Socks must be worn while borrowing skates.

Winter can be hardest for Toronto’s most vulnerable residents, including newcomers. Winter Care Kits (including gloves, hats, hand-warmers, grocery gift cards, and more) will be distributed to local residents experiencing homelessness and poverty. Donations can be made as a top-up to skate/bar transactions; by credit card at onsite “tap” stations; or online at thebentway.ca/wintercarekits.

Please note: Depending on weather, The Bentway Skate Trail may need to close for maintenance or clean up. We work as quickly as possible to re-open the ice, and ask that you please check our website or social media (@thebentway) for updates.
