Sarah Munro is a curator, archivist, and arts and cultural administrator with a passion for promoting the artworks and artifacts of diverse and often marginalized communities. She believes in the power of creativity, collaboration, and conversation to change and unite minds.

Read moreSarah has a background in the fine arts and museum collections management, and has worked with a wide range of arts and cultural heritage organizations, including the Genocide Archive of Rwanda, the UK’s National Holocaust Centre and Museum, the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives, the Ontario Jewish Archives, the Koffler Centre of the Arts, the Prefix Institute of Contemporary Art, and Ryerson Artspace. Most recently she operated as Director of Public Programs for Myseum of Toronto, a 21st century civic museum whose programs and experiences showcase the history, spaces, cultures, architecture, and people that represent Toronto’s unique place in the world. As Manager of Programming for The Bentway, Sarah facilitates meaningful interactions between the city’s diverse communities, within a gathering space of layered historical significance.
